A few weeks ago we let you know that the Christian Broadcasting Network aired an in-home interview of Matthew, Nancy, and Emma Sleeth (of the creation care ministry Blessed Earth) on its television show, the 700 Club. The Sleeths were able to speak of their conviction that a life of creation care goes hand-in-hand with a life rooted in Christ, and share that conviction with a broad Christian audience.

While the segment is hailed as providing viewers with innovative ways to save money by “going green,” what is clear is that the Sleeths’ commitment to responsible living on the earth goes far beyond nickles and dimes; it has freed them to live a life that is centered on God, and rich in family, friends, and fresh air.
