Blessed Earth, the creation care ministry of Matthew and Nancy Sleeth, will be featured in a four-part series of interviews on the 700 Club, the Pat Robertson-hosted television show on the Christian Broadcasting Network. The interviews start tomorrow (Friday) in a segment called “Inside Green,” which the 700 Club website advertises as a way to save money by going “green.”
The Sleeth family’s dedication to creation care started with a conversion to following Christ, and has blossomed into a new, richer lifestyle, as well a series of speaking tours and publications (Serve God, Save the Planet by Matthew, It’s Easy Being Green by daughter Emma, and the most recent Go Green, Save Green by Nancy).
The Sleeths have shared several ways you can celebrate and encourage CBN’s show of support for valuing God’s creation:
1. Check out when The 700 Club airs on Friday in your area, and let your local friends and family know about the Blessed Earth “Inside Green” interview. Click here to search for the cable station in your area that carries The 700 Club.
2. Spread the word. Have a Christian friend who is skeptical about going green? An environmentalist friend who doesn’t believe in the Creator? Share the interview with friends who are just beginning their creation care journey, or as an encouragement to dedicated creation care leaders.
3. Let The 700 Club know how much you appreciate their interview with Blessed Earth founders, Dr. Matthew and Nancy Sleeth, and all things green. Click here to write to The 700 Club.
4. E-mail Blessed Earth and tell them about how you are going green at home, church, work and beyond.
