We are trying to start a project of that nature for our youth. Taung is a very rural area and as such, the youth always leave for cities after matric, either to further their studies or to go and look for employment. So, should you manage to get something that could help us in this regard please dont forget to inform us.

I would love to have a discussion with you and Jason F. about this. I'm thinking, praying, and talking with my church about implementing something like this with the intention of donating 100% of the produce to the local food bank: http://www.collaborus.org/2011/11/church-planting-that-hits-spot.html

I see this movement emerging as well. In fact we want to help develop resources for churches to start farms and community gardens. We would love to hear your thoughts on how you think equipping churches to combine mission, discipleship, social justice, creation care,etc...through cultivating the land could be done.

Would love to connect!
